Woe of The Worrier
At times I tend to forget that there are people on this planet, other than me, who have to take critical decisions, face scrutiny over their actions and bear the consequences of their doing just as same as myself. In the process of living life, we do so much and worry so much more, for doing something once in real life means doing that thing ten times over in your head and bearing the burden of it's consequences, regardless of it's actual execution. But nevertheless, thinking as we do it is something we cherish, something that sets us apart as the acme of living organisms, while it has it's perks, too much brooding has its share of perils.
To think of it as inevitable is one, to know we have control over it and still relinquish overcoming it is another and to choose how it affects us, in what ways and to what extent is the triumph.
To give a real life example of how anxiousness holds us at bay from reaching our full potential, imagine a person walking in a splendid garden, with flowers of all kinds at their vision's disposal, ideally a person in such a scenario should be enraptured by nature's marvels and should lose themselves in it's awareness. But if that person is in constant conflict with themselves over topics far ranging in significance and substance, such a person is bound to be dejected, regardless of the pleasantry of their atmosphere.
Oh to be alive on earth and teleport to the hell of your consciousness momentarily, haven't we all? Haven't we all forgotten reality at times and let our imagination seize us and our wits to the core. We all have been the convicts of the prison of our minds. We have inhaled the stench of uncertainty and been held in the grasp of adjacent fear. We have shook hands with the impromptu fate and grieved over it playing havoc with our precious lives.
Control we have, only over bits and pieces of our lives, which appear too trivial but to state facts, "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts," yet the whole can't help being derived from the parts. To manipulate the entirety of our life is impossible, but the stratagem against life can be carried out one at a time, in chunks and in miniscule strides. Immediate future is just as cardinal as delayed future, by controlling the present as ideally as we can, we get the hold of our future; for what is life but controlling the things we can control as best as we can, making sense of the nonsense and trudging alongside mayhem, at the pace of tranquility.
